Continue to Rt. 2 West (Trans-Canada Hwy.). Follow for approximately 50 miles to Perth-Andover/Plaster Rock Exit. Exit 115. Go one mile to stop sign. Go across bridge, then left off of bridge and through village. Take Route 109 (right at Y). Go approx. 12½ miles to Arthurette. Turn left on to bridge and right off of bridge. Go approx. 9½ miles to Sisson Ridge Road (Linton Corner Cemetery). Turn left and go straight up hill ( through stop sign) for exactly five miles. "After 20 years of bear hunting without success in Pennsylvania, Jim Walter of suburban Harrisburg decided to head north. The trek to North View Hunting and Fishing Lodge in the Plaster Rock of New Brunswick paid off. Walter and hunting partner James Maclay of Lewisberry, saw six different bear during a week of hunting at the lodge. Walter filled out his tag late on the last day of the hunt. They also saw moose, coyote, grouse, porcupine and snowshoe rabbit..."

Chase Tillman, son of Tracy Douglas and Greg Tillman of Ripley, and his grandfather Larry Chaisson, of Ripley, have returned from a successful black bear hunt in New Brunswick, Canada. Mr. Chaisson took his bear the first day of the hunt and Chase selected a full-standing mount from the taxidermist as a means to display the animal. They participated in other activities while at North View Hunting & Fishing lodge and accompanied the guide on scouting trips in the area.
